Under 17s Driving Lesson Topics

Because of the superb facilities offered by our 1.5km private road driver training facility we are able to cover most of the Learning to Drive syllabus off road either wholly, or in part. We can't simulate heavy traffic or busy pedestrian areas - but that's the whole reason for learning off road - to avoid those distractions until you are confident with the basics!

We can use the circuit to simulate either 2-way or one-way traffic, so we can also cover some aspects of dual carriageways.

The amount covered in each lesson will depend on your level of skill, the speed of learning and the length of time booked for your lesson. We offer a choice of 60 minute, 90 minute or 120 minute driving lessons for under 17s allowing you to learn at your own pace.

Or How to get the most out of your driving lessons!

Our under 17s driving lessons follow a set syllabus and every student will be given their own personalised training record. This will allow you to see at a glance how much you have learnt and what remains to be covered, to see how well you are progressing towards your goal of learning to drive.

Additionally, you will be given handouts for each topic covered allowing you to review, reinforce and revise what we have covered when you get home. As the course progresses these build up into a comprehensive reference folder of the skills and information you need to learn to drive. You will also be given links to a comprehensive on-line reference site covering all the aspects of learning to drive, please use this to reinforce your learning. Please review and revise the previous lesson's sheets before each new lesson so that together we can move forwards through the syllabus and build on the driving skills you learnt in previous lessons.
